CabbageTown Toronto

Peartree Restaurant in Cabbage Town

Cabbage Town in Toronto is the home to one of Toronto's ultimate traditional brunches at the Peartree Restaurant, 507 Parliament Street. They serve a traditional brunch as well as a first-rate Eggs Benedict, all priced under ten dollars.  In the summer they have a patio in the rear and next to the patio is a terrific little solarium, which gives a summertime feel 12 months of the year. If you arrive early enough, usually before 2:30, you can enjoy their complimentary blueberry coffeecake squares, which are made that day and are excellent.  Their home fries are great, but their homemade French fries are even better.  We recommend that you skip dessert because even though the selection is plentiful, the pies and cakes offered appear to be purchased from an outside source which makes them a little mediocre.
