Furama Cake & Dessert Pastry house at 250 Spadina may seem like a strange choice for the ultimate pastry take-out but after trying it, you'll probably agree this place is great. This is a true Chinese pastry house, creating daily fresh sandwiches, pastry and other delights. Their little chicken sandwich buns are outstanding. This is a great place to sit down for cup of tea or coffee and have a quick lunch, and it is also an excellent place to gather an interesting array of sandwiches for light entertaining. The prices are extremely reasonable with sandwiches priced under two dollars and pastries for around a dollar.
