You asked for any good finds, well I
have found THE BEST PLACE IN TORONTO. It’s called Insomnia and it is
located at Bloor and Bathurst. I do my
business meetings there, meet with friends, go on dates, everything!
It’s really amazing. The setting is really intimate, but very
inviting. They show case new artists/artwork every month which is
great ‘cause I am a total art fan and love
new artists. They have quality food and good prices…I have had many
meetings, during their popular brunch’s. If
I want to go on an intimate date, or have a good chat with a friend…I
go around 7 when the music is still light, the lighting is dim, and
it’s just cozy. At around 10 I think, there is a different
dj every night, and it’s a blast. The
place starts bumping, and gets packed with partiers. They have a huge
huge bar…. I love martinis and they have
about 40 of them, my boyfriend loves scotch and there’s an entire
shelf of great scotch’s. The place has
really got it’s own vibe, and it becomes
addicting. I was there for New Years this year and for under a hundred
dollars each we got a full five course meal, with wine, champagne, and
by eleven all the tables had been pushed to the side and the whole
place was dancing ! I know I am rambling
but I really think you should check this place out…no other place
sticks in my mind like this place. Also they have really hot servers
(mostly males) and my boyfriend thinks the bartenders (all females)
are “smoking hot!” Other than me of course! Check it
out..you’ll become addicted like us.
